About Our Beneficiary

Our benefaciaries this year are Sunbeam Place and Evergreen Place.

Background

The location, Home @ Hong San, is Singapore’s first residential co-location facility. It is a four-storey purpose-built facility comprising of 2 homes, Sunbeam Place and Evergreen Place.

Sunbeam Place is a 72-bed home for children and teenagers, from 3 to 18 years old, who are in need of safety and protection.

Evergreen Place, a 102-bed home for the aged, is operated by the Singapore Amalgamated Services Co-operative Organisation. The home caters mainly to seniors above the age of 60 without alternative means of accommodation.

Sunbeam Place receives no funding, while Evergreen Place receives only partial funding from the ministry.

How to get there

Home @ Hong San is located at 28 and 30 Hong San Terrace, which is near South View LRT station, 1 stop from Choa Chu Kang MRT station.

Other information

The dates are set at 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th of June, from 9am to 6pm. Volunteers are required to attend only 1 session. For more information, please email pahxii.vm@gmail.com.
